Effective date: 1 November 2026
Platform: youRest
Website: yourest.eu and applicable restaurant subdomains on youRest
1. Who we are
youRest provides technology that enables restaurants, cafés, bakeries and other food businesses (“Restaurants”) to display menus, receive orders and manage delivery or collection.
The platform is operated by Nataliia Kirejeva, a sole trader established in Ireland, trading as NK Platform Studio (“we”, “us”, “our” or the “Platform Operator”). In these Terms, “you” and “Customer” mean the person who browses a menu or places an order through youRest.
Privacy contact and legal correspondence: admin@bbqr.site
Operator business address: Main Street, Enniscorthy, Wexford, Y21 WYK5, Ireland.
These Terms apply to every order request you submit and every order you place through the platform. Please read them before confirming an order. The Restaurant’s own information on its page, including allergen information and fulfilment options, also applies.
2. youRest provides ordering technology; the Restaurant supplies the food
youRest is an online ordering platform. We provide the technical and commercial tools that let you browse a Restaurant’s menu, submit an order, pay where online payment is offered, and receive order updates.
We do not prepare, cook, package or deliver food ourselves, and we do not employ the Restaurant’s kitchen or delivery staff. The Restaurant identified on the ordering page is responsible for the food, its preparation, allergen information it publishes, packaging, collection or delivery performance, and its own customer service for the order.
Where we collect a platform service charge, that charge is for our platform services and is separate from the Restaurant’s price for the food and fulfilment.
3. The Restaurant
The Restaurant is the food business identified on the ordering page and in your order confirmation. It is an independent business. It is not a branch, agent or subsidiary of the Platform Operator.
The Restaurant sets its own menu, prices, availability, opening hours, delivery areas, collection options, minimum order rules and any other fulfilment conditions shown before you place the order. Those conditions apply alongside these Terms: these Terms govern your relationship with the Platform Operator; the Restaurant’s published information and its contract with you govern the supply of food and fulfilment.
4. The food supply contract and who the parties are
The contract for the food and for collection or delivery is concluded between you and the Restaurant. We are not a party to that contract, do not acquire rights under it and do not assume the Restaurant’s obligations under it.
Matters such as food quality, temperature, missing items, allergen accuracy of the Restaurant’s menu descriptions, delivery timing by the Restaurant’s staff or contractors, and refunds of amounts paid for the food are primarily the Restaurant’s responsibility, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights and to the Platform Operator’s duties for its own platform services.
5. Submitting an order
When you complete checkout and submit an order, you send an order request with the selected items, options, quantities or weights, contact details and, for delivery, the delivery address and any instructions.
An order request is not automatically fulfilled. Depending on the Restaurant’s settings, the Restaurant may accept orders automatically or review them manually. Prices, fees, available slots and coverage shown at checkout reflect the Restaurant’s configuration and the information available at that moment.
You will be told the outcome through the order page and any configured notification channels, such as email, browser push or Telegram where enabled.
6. When an order becomes confirmed
An order becomes confirmed for platform purposes when the Restaurant has accepted it under its acceptance settings and, where online payment is required for that order, the applicable online payment has succeeded or the checkout identifies another payment arrangement (for example pay on delivery or collection).
Until acceptance and any required online payment succeed, the Restaurant may decline the request, propose a changed time or otherwise not proceed. If an online payment was taken and the order cannot proceed, refunds are handled as described below and in the payment provider’s flow.
Your order reference is the reference for further communication about that order. Keep your private order-page link confidential because it provides access to information and actions for that order.
7. Prices, fees and platform charges
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include the Restaurant’s item prices together with any delivery, collection or other charges the Restaurant configures and any platform service charge identified at checkout.
The checkout identifies the applicable payment arrangement, including whether the payment covers the full order, a deposit or a platform fee. Where a platform service charge is payable to us, we are the recipient of that charge. Stripe processing fees and the Restaurant’s own charges are handled according to the payment arrangement shown at checkout.
A later change to a Restaurant’s menu or fee settings does not alter amounts already accepted for a confirmed order, except where a change you approve updates the order.
8. Payments
Where online payment is offered through Stripe, payment details are entered through Stripe’s payment interface. Card details are not stored by youRest as full card numbers. The platform receives transaction information needed to update the order, reconcile charges and manage refunds.
The Restaurant may also record cash or other directly collected payments where that option is offered. Restaurant partners may provide business verification and payout details directly to Stripe when setting up a connected account.
Failed, declined or abandoned payments mean the online-paid portion of the order is not completed. You may retry where the Restaurant and checkout still allow it.
9. Delivery and collection
Delivery addresses and instructions are used to check service coverage, calculate applicable charges and help deliver the order. Collection times and locations are those shown by the Restaurant.
A delivery worker receives the information needed for the assigned delivery. When a Restaurant opens a delivery route in Google Maps, route locations may be passed to Google for navigation.
You are responsible for providing an accurate address, reachable contact number and any access instructions needed for delivery. If the Restaurant or courier cannot complete delivery because of incorrect information, restricted access or your unavailability after reasonable attempts, the Restaurant’s fulfilment rules apply, and amounts already paid may be handled under those rules and applicable law.
10. Changes to an order
If you want to change items, time, address or contact details after submitting an order, use the order page where change actions are offered, or contact the Restaurant using the contact details on its page, and contact us at admin@bbqr.site if you need help routing the request.
Every change depends on the Restaurant accepting it and on operational feasibility. A change may alter the price. Until a change is confirmed in the order record, the previous accepted details remain in force.
11. Cancellation
You may cancel an order only where the order page or the Restaurant still allows cancellation before preparation or dispatch has progressed beyond the point the Restaurant permits. Contact the Restaurant and, if needed, admin@bbqr.site with your order reference.
Refunds of online payments follow the payment arrangement, the Restaurant’s instructions for Restaurant-controlled amounts, and any platform rules for platform charges, subject to mandatory consumer law. Cash or other amounts paid directly to the Restaurant are handled by the Restaurant.
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights that cannot be waived.
12. Allergies and special requirements
Please avoid entering medical information in general order notes. For allergy requirements, contact the Restaurant using the contact details shown on its page before ordering.
Menu allergen information describes food and does not by itself record a customer’s medical condition. The Restaurant is responsible for the accuracy of the allergen information it publishes and for how it handles allergy requests it accepts.
13. Service messages
Order confirmations, requests to approve a changed time, delivery or collection updates, payment messages and refund notices are service communications necessary to perform the order.
Placing an order does not by itself give consent to promotional messages from us. The Restaurant is responsible for any marketing it independently sends.
14. Acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, not misuse the ordering tools, not attempt unauthorised access to other customers’ orders, and not place orders that are abusive, fraudulent or intended to disrupt the Restaurant or the platform. We and the Restaurant may refuse or cancel orders that appear to breach these rules, without prejudice to further remedies.
15. Complaints
If something goes wrong with food quality, missing items or fulfilment, contact the Restaurant first using the details on its page and quote your order reference. Photographs and the order details help resolve the matter quickly.
If the issue concerns the platform technology, a platform charge, or you need help identifying the Restaurant, write to admin@bbqr.site with your order reference. Making a complaint to us does not prevent you from pursuing the Restaurant directly or using the dispute routes below.
16. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for providing the ordering platform with reasonable care and skill, and for loss that is a foreseeable result of our failure to do so.
To the extent permitted by applicable consumer law, we are not responsible for the preparation or quality of food, for the Restaurant’s allergen descriptions, for the acts or omissions of the Restaurant or its delivery personnel, for fulfilment delays caused by the Restaurant, or for loss caused by inaccurate information you provided. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and mandatory consumer-law rights. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
17. Governing law, consumer rights and dispute resolution
The contract between you and the Platform Operator for platform services is governed by the law of Ireland.
This choice of law does not deprive you, as a consumer, of protection that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country where you are habitually resident. If you live in an EU or EEA country, you keep that country’s mandatory consumer protection and may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law allows.
The food supply relationship with the Restaurant is governed by its own terms and applicable law.
If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Please contact us at admin@bbqr.site first so we can try to resolve the matter.
18. Privacy and cookies
Personal data is handled as described in the youRest Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are described in the youRest Cookie Policy. Both are available from the legal links on the platform.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service, payment arrangements or the law. The version that applies to an order is the version published when you submitted that order. A later change does not alter an order you have already placed. The current version is always available on the platform.
20. Contact and version
For questions about these Terms, contact admin@bbqr.site or write to the operator address above.
This is version 1 of the youRest Customer Terms. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
